Please be aware that in addition to legislative requirements as with Pat Testing, many other organisations such as Insurance Companies place an obligation on their clients to carry out Fixed Installation Testing (now known as Electrical Installation Condition Reporting).
At the end of a testing programme, a detailed Electrical Installation Report is provided detailing extent and results of the Inspection and Testing and listing any recommendations for remedial actions that should be taken to ensure compliance with current standards.
It is advised these Reports should be kept for the lifetime of an installation.
